1. Why community rules exist
Corner is a personal publication with optional conversation features, not an unmoderated public forum. Conversations should help people reflect, celebrate, learn and give constructive feedback without making others feel unsafe.
Posting a comment or guestbook entry is a request for publication subject to moderation. The operator decides whether a contribution is suitable for the particular story and its audience.
2. What is welcome
Thoughtful reactions, relevant questions, sincere congratulations, respectful corrections, additional sources and constructive disagreement are welcome. Explain disagreement without targeting an individual's identity or safety.
Keep contributions relevant to the published piece and avoid posting the same message repeatedly.
3. Content that may be rejected or removed
- Threats, harassment, discriminatory abuse, hateful incitement or targeted intimidation.
- Sexual exploitation or abuse material, material harmful to children, threats of violence, or any unlawful material.
- Private addresses, phone numbers, government IDs, confidential documents, health details or other personal data disclosed without an appropriate legal basis.
- Impersonation, misleading identities, fabricated allegations, scams, phishing, spam, malicious links or coordinated manipulation of reactions.
- Infringing photographs, text, code or other copyrighted material without required rights or permission.
- Attempts to defeat security controls, disrupt moderation or solicit credentials and one-time codes.
4. How moderation works
Where commenting requires sign-in, Corner associates an approved comment with the verified account display name; its email address is not meant to be displayed in that comment. Submissions can be pending, approved, hidden, rejected or removed according to the available moderation workflow.
Moderators may consider relevance, context, safety, repeated behavior, applicable law, potential factual harm and whether consent was obtained. Publication is not guaranteed, and a prior approval does not prevent later removal.
5. Ownership and submission permission
Contributors retain ownership of the lawful rights in their own submissions. By choosing to submit for public display, they grant the Corner operator a limited, nonexclusive permission to store, review, display and reasonably format the contribution for the site's community function.
That limited permission does not authorize unrelated commercialization of confidential personal information, nor does it justify posting someone else’s protected work.
6. Reporting a concern
Send the post URL, date, comment text or other identifying reference and the reason for concern to connect@vamsimarripudi.me. Do not reproduce harmful private material unnecessarily in the complaint.
Where practical, reports will be reviewed proportionately to urgency and legal requirements. Safety or privacy incidents may be prioritized over ordinary editorial disagreements.
7. Review, appeal and repeat misuse
If a comment was removed and you believe the decision was mistaken, contact the operator from the relevant account address, referencing the submission if available. The operator may explain or reconsider the moderation decision, subject to safety, privacy and operational constraints.
Repeated serious violations can result in blocking, session revocation or loss of member privileges. Mandatory legal grievance rights are not reduced by these guidelines.
